Escaping to the Native Side

Welcome graphic

On June 3, 2002 I was adopted by the Chiricahua Apache tribe by Eric Twocrow and his wife, kim.  It was an honor to be selected as his shilah,(sister).  At that time I was given my Apache name, Nildzil Isdzan,(meaning strong woman.)  Even before that time, I had been interested in native american cultures and the beliefs of the spiritual world.  I have made many new brothers and sisters in the last 2 yrs and have met some of them in person at powwows.  If you are even slightly interested in the native american culture, please do research on the subject, you might find that in your inner soul, no matter what race or religion you are, we all go back to a simpler way of living.  You may also discover that each of us in our own ways have that special need and/or want for love, light, peace and harmony.

The First Nation's Peoples had a value system. There were only four commandments from the Great Spirits:

1.Respect Mother Earth
2.Respect the Great Spirit
3.Respect our fellow man and woman
4.Respect for individual freedom

We All Have Two Families...One, Is The Family We Are Born With.....And The Other Is The Family That We Create, By Selecting Those People That We Surround Ourselves With.
